Goozex

Don't take your unwanted games to GameStop! I found this awesome site called Goozex. I've had around 3 or 4 trades on there already and currently have 10 games up for trade. Each game you trade is worth a certain amount of points. When someone requests that game, you get the points to use for another game. You have to have 1 token for each game you want. They give you the 1st token free. Each token is $1. So it's like paying $1 for a game instead of $20 or $50. Sign up and start trading!!! I love this site :) Also, they're going to start trading DVD and Blue-Ray! :D

The Midnight Meat Train

The Midnight Meat Train is about Leon Kaufman, a photographer, that tracks down and photographs a subway serial killer. He is encouraged to explore the sinister side of humanity by a prominent art gallery proprietor who is set to display his upcoming debut. Instead, he goes against the wishes of his girlfriend and begins stalking a notorious serial killer. The serial killer's sadistic murder spree has been making headlines all across the country. As Leon's fascination with the killer gradually grows into obsession, his descent into the killer's putrid world of murder begins to corrupt his soul while simultaneously dragging his concerned girlfriend down a perverse path of darkness. I do not recommand this for those with a weak stomach.

Watchmen: The Movie

Watchmen is based on the 1986-1987 comic book limited series Watchmen by Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons. This movie was absolutely amazing. I fell in love with it. It's run time is 163 minutes. A lot of people complained about it being so long. Complained that it was confusing. I didn't think it was confusing at all, but after all, I did pay attention to what was going on. I heard the directors cut DVD is even longer. I personally would have liked to see the un-shorted version of it. The Watchmen DVD is defiantly on my list to get. There's only 67 days until the DVD is released (July 21, 2009).

"The movie is set in an alternate universe circa in 1985. The film's world is a highly unstable one where a nuclear war is imminent between America and Russia. Superheroes have long been made to hang up their tights thanks to the government-sponsored Keene Act, but that all changes with the death of The Comedian, a robust ex-hero commando whose mysterious free fall out a window perks the interest of one of the country's last remaining vigilantes, Rorschach. His investigation leads him to caution many of his other former costumed colleagues, including Dr. Manhattan, Night Owl, Ozymandias, Sally Jupiter, and her daughter, The Silk Spectre. Heralded for bringing the world of superheroes into the literary world, Watchmen gave the super-powered mythos a real-life grounding that had been missing in mainstream comics to that point. The film adaptation had languished in one form of development hell or another for years after the book's release, with various directors on and off the project, including Terry Gilliam, David Hayter, and Darren Aronofsky, as well as Paul Greengrass, whose eventual dismissal stemmed from budget conflicts with the studio."

Rating: R
MPAA Reasons: for strong graphic violence, sexuality, nudity and language

Featured Cast
Malin Akerman as Laurie Jupiter/Silk Spectre II
Billy Crudup as Dr. Manhattan/Jon Osterman
Matthew Goode as Adrian Veidt/Ozymandias
Carla Gugino as Sally Jupiter/Silk Spectre
Jackie Earle Haley as Rorshach

Oceanside Photography

Oceanside Photography is based in Conway, SC and is a GREAT photography service. They did my bridal shots, engagement photos, and my wedding photos. They are not even that expensive. I got all of my photos on a CD within a few days of the event. Fast service is what I love about them. For 3-4 hours, engagement photos and wedding photos, it was only $1000. The bridal shots were FREE! $1000 seems like a lot, but looking back at the photos, it was well worth it. If you live in South Carolina (Horry County), I recommend you use them for any photo service you need. I have included some of the photos they took.

Guitar Hero Metallica: PS3

If you are a Metallica fan or just a Guitar Hero fan, you will love this version. To me, the Metallica songs are a lot more challenging than the regular songs on Guitar Hero 3 and World Tour. I like a challenge and that's exactly what this game gives. The characters even look like the members from Metallica. This game still allows you to play as a band just like in World Tour. But unlike World Tour, this version introduces the double foot petal (a second foot petal). Not only are the songs challenging, but now the drummer has a challenge! It also has over 20 guest acts as well. I recommend this game to all Guitar Hero players.

Features:
Play with 4 locally or battle other bands online
Create your own rocker
Full music studio and GHTunes
Play the Death Magnetic downloadable content as Metallica themselves
Gain deep access into Metallica through Metallifact provided from the band

The Ghost of Girlfriends Past

I have been wanting to see this movie since I saw a preview of it. I finally got to see it the other night. I was disappointed. It wasn't as good as I thought it would be. It wasn't BAD, but it wasn't great either. It's hard to come by very good movies now a days. For those of you that have not watched it yet, it is a comedy about a bachelor that goes to his brother's wedding. While there,he is visited by the ghosts of his past girlfriends.

"Celebrity photographer Connor Mead loves freedom, fun and women... in that order. A committed bachelor who thinks nothing of breaking up with multiple women on a conference call, Connor's mockery of romance proves a real buzz-kill for his kid brother, Paul, and a houseful of well wishers on the eve of Paul's wedding. Just when it looks like Connor may single-handedly ruin the wedding, he is visited by the ghosts of his former jilted girlfriends, who take him on a revealing and hilarious odyssey through his failed relationships--past, present and future. Together they attempt to find out what turned Connor into such an insensitive jerk and whether there is still hope for him to find true love...or if he really is the lost cause everyone thinks he is."
