The Midnight Meat Train

The Midnight Meat Train is about Leon Kaufman, a photographer, that tracks down and photographs a subway serial killer. He is encouraged to explore the sinister side of humanity by a prominent art gallery proprietor who is set to display his upcoming debut. Instead, he goes against the wishes of his girlfriend and begins stalking a notorious serial killer. The serial killer's sadistic murder spree has been making headlines all across the country. As Leon's fascination with the killer gradually grows into obsession, his descent into the killer's putrid world of murder begins to corrupt his soul while simultaneously dragging his concerned girlfriend down a perverse path of darkness. I do not recommand this for those with a weak stomach.

Watchmen: The Movie
"The movie is set in an alternate universe circa in 1985. The film's world is a highly unstable one where a nuclear war is imminent between America and Russia. Superheroes have long been made to hang up their tights thanks to the government-sponsored Keene Act, but that all changes with the death of The Comedian, a robust ex-hero commando whose mysterious free fall out a window perks the interest of one of the country's last remaining vigilantes, Rorschach. His investigation leads him to caution many of his other former costumed colleagues, including Dr. Manhattan, Night Owl, Ozymandias, Sally Jupiter, and her daughter, The Silk Spectre. Heralded for bringing the world of superheroes into the literary world, Watchmen gave the super-powered mythos a real-life grounding that had been missing in mainstream comics to that point. The film adaptation had languished in one form of development hell or another for years after the book's release, with various directors on and off the project, including Terry Gilliam, David Hayter, and Darren Aronofsky, as well as Paul Greengrass, whose eventual dismissal stemmed from budget conflicts with the studio."
MPAA Reasons: for strong graphic violence, sexuality, nudity and language
Malin Akerman as Laurie Jupiter/Silk Spectre II
Billy Crudup as Dr. Manhattan/Jon Osterman
Matthew Goode as Adrian Veidt/Ozymandias
Carla Gugino as Sally Jupiter/Silk Spectre

The Ghost of Girlfriends Past

"Celebrity photographer Connor Mead loves freedom, fun and women... in that order. A committed bachelor who thinks nothing of breaking up with multiple women on a conference call, Connor's mockery of romance proves a real buzz-kill for his kid brother, Paul, and a houseful of well wishers on the eve of Paul's wedding. Just when it looks like Connor may single-handedly ruin the wedding, he is visited by the ghosts of his former jilted girlfriends, who take him on a revealing and hilarious odyssey through his failed relationships--past, present and future. Together they attempt to find out what turned Connor into such an insensitive jerk and whether there is still hope for him to find true love...or if he really is the lost cause everyone thinks he is."
